NC Driving 101 Students ONLY – Road Test Option (BY APPOINTMENT ONLY)
Available exclusively for NC Driving 101 students by appointment only.
Teens who complete their road test with us will only need to visit the North Carolina Division of Motor Vehicles office to finalize their Level 2 Limited Provisional License, reducing time spent at the license office since the road test is already completed.
Eligibility Requirements
Students must meet all of the following to upgrade to a Level 2 Limited Provisional License:
- Be at least 16 and under 18 years old.
- Hold a Level 1 Limited Learner’s Permit for at least 9 months.
- You must have completed the required 60 hours practice log.
- Parent/Guardian consent is required at time of testing. Parent/Guardian must come with Student to the road test.
- Have no convictions in the past 6 months for:
Moving violations
DWI
Seat belt infractions
Mobile phone violations

- Passing is not guaranteed. All testing is conducted in accordance with strict North Carolina Division of Motor Vehicles guidelines.
- If over 5 minutes late you must reschedule.
